The Riverside Park Hotel in Wexford always offers great value family breaks for Easter holidays, and this year is no exception. We stayed here a few years ago and enjoyed its spacious rooms and family friendly facilities.

Located just an hour from Dublin, this award-winning glamping site is a super choice for an Easter break.
I had the pleasure of visiting Glamping under the Stars last Summer and loved staying in these cute hobbit houses. As well as a unique family holiday in Ireland, they are so well equipped that they offer the best of both worlds – a back to nature escape with all the modern comforts of home.
The hobbit houses sleep up to six and have curved ceilings grass roofs, and some have ensuite bathrooms too. The communal ‘Glamp House’ has a kitchen & dining area with a barbecue deck, campfire area, and proper bathrooms. There is also a children’s playhouse, sandpit and fairyhouse.

The Talbot Hotel Wexford is located right in the heart of Wexford Town and boasts a fully equipped leisure centre and swimming pool. These spacious apartments are ideal for families looking for a two bedroom stay with self catering facilities.

The Dunloe Hotel and Gardens is a recent addition to my Irish bucket list and must be one of the best luxury hotels in Ireland for families.
As well as 64 acres to explore, there is a wonderful outdoor adventure playground on the hotel grounds, and guests can enjoy complimentary activities including a Kids Club, horse riding on Austrian Haflinger Ponies, tennis, and fishing, as well the onsite facilities including a leisure centre and kids club ( 3+). There is also a separate Dunloe Easter Programme with arts and crafts, movies, face painting and an Easter egg hunt.
Price for an overnight stay including breakfast are €415 for two adults and two children and €440 for 2 adults and three children.

The highly-rated Clayton Limerick Hotel boasts Shannon river views, a leisure centre on site, and a choice of dining options – it is no surprise that it is one of the most popular hotels in the city. I stayed here on a few occasions and loved its super service and riverside location.

Located in Doolin Village, these three-bedroom lodges are ideal for families who want to explore Clare’s stunning coastline and top attractions. Lodges can sleep up to six but availability is limited.

Located in Ballsbridge, just about 30 minutes walk from the city centre, Broc House offers superb value for a family stay in Dublin. The self-catering holiday apartments are modern with floor-to-ceiling windows and there is a communal roof terrace with views over the city.
Free parking is available on site, and the centre of Dublin is easily reached on foot or by public transport.

If you are looking for a city break away from the capital, look no further than The Fitzwilton. Located in Waterford City, Ireland’s oldest city, this boutique hotel is ideal if you don’t wish to drive – it is just 300 meters from the train station and five minutes from the Waterford Greenway.

The Dingle Skellig Hotel is superbly situated overlooking Dingle Bay. The hotel also has a leisure club, swimming pool, spa, and outdoor hot tub – so if you just want to relax, you can do that too! Rated excellent on TripAdvisor, this is one of the most popular places to stay on the Wild Atlantic Way.
