Weekend Break In Marrakech, Flights & Top-Rated Riad, €223pp!

Are you looking for some winter sun with a difference? Try a weekend break in Marrakech.

With the introduction of a new service to Marrakech this winter, there has never been a better time to visit Morocco’s medieval city. Ryanair and Aer Lingus are both flying three times weekly from Dublin to Marrakech, so there are lots of opportunities to grab a bargain weekend in Marrakech.

Average temperatures in Marrakech are a balmy 23 degrees in November, so you can enjoy exploring this unique city as well as soaking up the sunshine.

The walled medieval Medina is the heart of this city. Go bargain hunting in the souqs and spend some time on the main square, Jemâa El-Fna, where you will find everything from snake charmers to cookery shows!

There are many traditional private mansions, or ‘riads’ located near the Medina. These house some of Marrakech’s top hotels now and are the best place to stay to soak up the atmosphere. However, Marrakech does have a new town with modern shops and bars, should you prefer a quieter place to stay.

Fly from Dublin to Marrakech on the 23rd of November for just €103 return with Ryanair or €157 with Aer Lingus. Aer Lingus flight times are better and price includes a 10kg checked bag, but I have listed both options for you below. A three-night stay in the top-rated Riad De Vinci & SPA is only €120pp (€239 per room) including breakfast.

Superbly located just 15 minutes walk from the famous Jemâa El Fna square, with a large rooftop terrace and indoor pool and outdoor pool, this Riad is a super choice for a weekend break in Marrakech in an authentic setting. Check out the great reviews on TripAdvisor if you still need convincing – it was a Travellers Choice Award Winner this year.
