1. Majorca: Dreams Calvia, B&B, 7 Nights from €699pp
Dreams Calvia Resort & Spa’s beachfront location is just one of the reasons this hotel is such a popular choice with guests – the 10 restaurants, 9 bars and a host of activities including Pilates, Yoga and a Spa, are some of the others.

The adults-only Bohemia Suites & Spa is one of the highest-rated hotels in Gran Canaria. Located in the lively resort of Playa del Ingles, its contemporary design, high-tech features and cosmopolitan clientele make it a great choice if you are looking for a luxury hotel in a lively location.
The 360° restaurant on the top floor offers panoramic views of the Maspalomas Sand Dunes and Atlantic Ocean, but if you want to see these views from the comfort of your room, I suggest upgrading to a Junior Suite which has an expansive outdoor terrace.

4. Marrakesh: All Inclusive Iberostar Waves Club Palmeraie from €769pp
Set amid 100,000 palm trees, this is one of the best all-inclusive resorts in Marrakesh. Both adults and families are well catered for here with a choice of pools, SPA, three restaurants, two bars, as well as an activity programme with sports courts and evening entertainment.
Its secluded location allows for a relaxing holiday, but the complimentary shuttle to the Medina – just 15 minutes away, offers the perfect combination if you want to explore the heart of Marrakesh.

5. Croatia: 5-Star Hotel Croatia, B&B, 7 Nights from €1369pp
Croatia is an excellent choice for a luxury getaway. Beyond the charm of the medieval city of Dubrovnik, the country boasts stunning islands and picturesque towns that are a joy to explore. One such gem is Cavtat – a town I’d happily return to in a heartbeat.
Just 30 minutes from Dubrovnik and near the Montenegro border, Cavtat is ideal for travellers who enjoy exploring nearby destinations while staying in an upscale resort. With its top-class restaurants and charming beach bars, it offers the perfect blend of relaxation and refinement.

7. Italy – Ischia: Continental Mare Hotel, B&B from €989pp
The island of Ischia (Capri’s more authentic little sister), has been on my wish list for many years, and I was amazed to find such great value in this top-rated hotel – with return transfers (including the ferry to Ischia) included!
Its dramatic cliffside location overlooking the Bay of Naples, offers stunning views from the pool – I’m mentally there already! There are two thermal pools fed by Ischia’s renowned volcanic springs providing a rejuvenating retreat, which sums up the relaxing atmosphere at the hotel.
The hotel’s restaurant receives excellent reviews from guests, but if you want to dine out you can avail of the complimentary shuttle bus which runs every half hour from 8am – 4pm to the port of Ischia, or enjoy the leisurely 30 minute walk downhill.
Enjoy day trips to Capri, the Amalfi Coast or Pompeii, or simply relax and enjoy one of the many spa treatments available at the hotel. This will be a truly relaxing escape in stunning surroundings.

8. Cyprus: Constantinou Bros Athena Beach Hotel, B&B, €659pp
The beachfront location of the newly renovated Constantinou Bros Athena Beach Hotel is enough to tempt me, but its spacious freeform pool area with two pool bars is also a big hit with guests.
There are six restaurants here, as well as a host of activities including dance lessons, tennis, bowls, and the Elixir Spa. There is also a day and evening entertainment programme, but if you fancy a change of scene, Paphos’ pretty harbour is just a short walk away.
There is a choice of rooms too, including junior suites with private pools. You can also upgrade to an Elite Class superior room or suite to enjoy enhanced services and amenities, including VIP check-in, late breakfast in an exclusive restaurant, and other additional touches. 9. Fuerteventura: All Inclusive Alua Suites, 7 Nights from €999pp
Fuerteventura has everything you could possibly want in a sun holiday destination. You will find some of Europe’s best beaches here, including Corralejo’s Grandes Playas – 10 km of coastline within Corralejo’s Natural Park.

The All Inclusive Alua Suites Fuerteventura is located in this area and boasts eight outdoor pools – two are adult only, as well as a host of activities including yoga, fitness classes and a Spa.
The all inclusive arrangement includes dining in the main buffet restaurant which has separate cooking stations and show cooking in the evening, as well as access to the a la carte restaurant once per week. Drinks and snacks are also available in the pool and lobby bars.

10. Corfu: All Inclusive Aeolos Beach Resort from €1199pp
The Aeolos Beach Resort offers the best of both worlds, with an idyllic beach location yet only 10 km from Corfu Town. There is a choice of dining options, an array of daytime activities including aqua gym, beach volleyball and a luxury Spa, as well as live music and evening shows. The infinity pool offers stunning sea views, but you can also enjoy beach access from 7am until sunset.
