I’ve searched the web so you don’t have to! My best travel deals from Ireland include last minute holidays, short breaks, amazing summer holidays, early booking offers, and super staycations.
This week’s best travel deals post include last minute ski holidays, short breaks in Venice, Costa del Sol and Canada, summer holidays in Corfu, Mexico and Tunisia, a Royal Caribbean cruise, an early booking offer for New Year and super staycations in Clare and Galway.
Best Last Minute: A week in Austria from €399!
Hit the slopes in March from as little as €399! Directski.com’s end of season sale includes ski deals to Austria, France, Italy and Andorra.
The basic but centrally located Pension Edelweiss in the pretty town of Zell am Zee in Austria is only €399 for seven nights on the 22nd of March, including flights, transfers and 20kg checked baggage. I stayed in Zell am Zee many years ago, its gorgeous, and its only 90 minutes from the beautiful city of Salzburg. Many more deals are available on their website.

Best Overnight Escape: Connemara Stay with Breakfast €55pp!

Best Spring Break: 5 Star Lido di Jesolo, Venice from €329!
Is Venice on your wish list? Visit in style by staying at one of the best hotels in Lido di Jesolo – the beach town that is just 30 minutes from Venice. I found a super deal for four nights departing the 30th of March for just €329 including return flights, and a superior room with breakfast in the 5 Star J44 Lifestyle Hotel.
Want to stay longer? The price is just €449 per person for six nights including flights. Check out the reviews on TripAdvisor if you still need convincing.
Best May Deal: 4 Star Costa del Sol Break from €274pp
Kickstart your summer with a beach break in the sunny Costa del Sol. Flights from Cork are available for as little as €60 return in May and flights from Dublin are available from €70. Flights are also available from Shannon and Knock, the best prices I found were for 3 nights – €129 from Knock on the 7th May, and €135 from Shannon on the 5th May.

A four night stay is €214 per person at the 4 Star beachfront Illunion Hotel, or stay for seven nights for €387 per person. I stayed here on many occasions and love its beachfront location and proximity to the old town of Fuengirola.

Best Family Holiday: 5 Star All Inclusive Tunisia Holiday from €3386
Take advantage of the new flights to Tunisia this year and secure an amazing 5 star beachfront hotel, complete with an on site waterpark for just €3386 in June or €3674 in July based on 2 adults and 2 children, or €5257 and €5647 respectively for 2 adults and 3 children in a 2 bedroom superior family room.

Best Family Staycation: Clare for St Patrick’s Weekend €167
Located on the banks of the river Shannon, the Lakeside Hotel & Leisure Centre has all you need for a family break over St Patrick’s weekend. Children will love the leisure centre with swimming pool and 40 metre waterslide, and family rooms come with a mini fridge. The possibilities for day trips are endless, with Bunratty Folk Park, the Cliffs of Moher and a choice of beaches all close by.
Price for an overnight stay on the 16th of March is €167 for a family of four including breakfast.

Best Summer Sun: Corfu from €545
Aer Lingus sale has up to 20% off flights and bags right up to the 31st of August and I found return flights to Corfu for just €241 on the 29th of July from Dublin. You can also fly from Shannon with Ryanair for €243 on the same date.
A seven night stay in the top-rated Mayflower apartments is only €302 per person, or choose a sea view room with breakfast at the 4-Star Aqua Luxury Suites for €572 per person.
Best Long Haul: All Inclusive 2 Week July Holiday in Mexico for €1799
Did you know there are weekly direct flights to Cancun from Dublin from 14th of June until the 12th of July? I found a super all inclusive deal staying in the 5 Star Bahia Principe Coba where you can enjoy two lake-style pools with swim-up bars, plus plenty of activities each day.
Price for flights, a 2 week stay with all meals and drinks included is just €1799 per person on the 5th of July. This includes a discount €200 when you use code SUN200 at the check-out.

Best City Break: 5 Night Toronto & Niagara Falls €1389
With daily direct flights from Dublin to Toronto there has never been a better time to tick Niagara Falls off your bucket list. I found a super short break which includes flights, a three night stay in Toronto and a two night stay beside Niagara Falls with the famous Voyager to the Falls cruise!

Best Early Booking Offer: 3 Night New Year Break in Lisbon €345!
Plan ahead and secure a bargain break for New Year. I found return flights to Lisbon for just €164 including 10kg checked baggage, departing the 29th of December for three nights. A three-night stay at the superbly located Barrio House Suites is just €181 per person, or choose the top-rated Hotel Mundial for just €247 per person.
