I had the pleasure of staying in a Deluxe Water Villa in Kuramathi and I felt like I was living in paradise. They are built on stilts over the ocean, so it is possible to jump straight into the sea from their massive deck. There are also steps down to the water – I am not the best swimmer, so this suited me perfectly!
The villas are beautifully decorated in bright modern style, with a king-sized four poster bed, free standing bath, and glass doors that open fully, offering direct access to the deck and the lagoon.
