Best last minute: A week in Corfu €429
The top-rated Little Prince apartments offer great value for a last minute holiday in Corfu. They have located in the heart of San Stefanos village and just 5-minutes walk to the beach. There is a pool, bar and Greek taverna on site – check out the reviews on TripAdvisor if you still need convincing.

Grab yourself a bargain break in the beautiful island of Île de Ré – at this price you can’t afford not to! Île de Ré is one of the most sought after holidays destinations in France and it is a lot more affordable and accessible than you think.
I found return flights to La Rochelle on the 10th of September from Dublin and 12th of September from Cork for only €48, and La Rochelle airport is just 12km or 17 minutes drive from Île de Ré. You will find similar price flights available later in September and October.
A two-night stay at the centrally located Hôtel du Port is €135 per person, or stay three nights over the weekend from €249 per person.

Take advantage of the increased flights to Marrakesh and book a winter sun break with a difference. I found return flights from Dublin to Marrakesh from just €103 in November, €117 in January, or €127 in March. Flights depart on Saturday and return on Tuesday.
A three-night stay in the top-rated Riad De Vinci & SPA is only €120pp (€239 per room) in November, and €115pp (€230 per room) in January and €108 per person in March – wouldn’t this make the perfect Christmas gift?
