Dubai Holidays – 5 Amazing Deals and My Top 5 Places to Visit
From romantic breaks to family getaways, I’ve got 5 affordable Dubai holidays staying in top-rated 5 Star Hotels, with prices from €858!
From jaw-dropping experiences to iconic landmarks, stunning beaches to hidden gems, there are so many things to do in Dubai. Dubai offers unique experiences for everyone to enjoy, and with daily direct flights from Dublin, Dubai holidays have never been more accessible. I’ve listed 5 of my top things to do in Dubai below, and 5 Dubai holiday deals to get you there!
5 Top Things to do in Dubai
1. Visit the World’s Tallest Building
The Burj Khalifa offers amazing views of the city and is a must visit in Dubai. There are several viewing platforms and stylish lounges to choose from, and its location next to the Dubai Fountain and Dubai Mall means you can combine three of Dubai’s top attractions during one afternoon.
Top Tip: Pre book skip the line tickets at peak times to avoid queues.
2. Explore Deira

Most tourists flock to Dubai’s shopping malls and beach resorts, but Deira is one of the oldest districts in Dubai, and gives you a taste of the city’s traditional side.
The Dubai Creek runs through Deira, so I suggest taking an Abra traditional boat ride across the Creek for a small fee, providing a unique view of both old and new Dubai. Take time to explore the traditional souks too.
Top Tips: Bring your camera too as the souks are full of colour and offer great photo opportunities.
3. Spend an afternoon at the Aura Skypool

One of the top things to do in Dubai for stunning views is to spend some time at the Aura Skypool. This luxurious rooftop infinity pool is located at the Palm Tower on Palm Jumeirah. As one of the highest sky pools in the world, it offers stunning panoramic views of the Dubai skyline, the Palm Jumeirah, and the Arabian Gulf.
Top Tip: Make sure you book in advance as it fills up quickly, particularly for sunrise and sunset.
4. Go on a desert safari
One of my favourite things to do in Dubai is to take a desert safari. As well as a thrilling ride through the sands, you can enjoy camel rides and enjoy a show with a BBQ. There are various trips that can be organised locally, so whether you seek adrenaline pumping sand skiing, romantic star gazing, or a family adventure like we had, a trip to the Arabian desert is a must. 5. Do something different

Dubai is packed with unique experiences, so make sure you try something you can’t do at home. Zipline over the Dubai marina, skydive over the Palm Jumeirah, book a hot air balloon ride over the Arabian desert or have Afternoon Tea at the Burj Al Arab. See lots more things to do in Dubai here:
