The Travel Expert’s Best Travel Deals – 4th February 2025
I’ve searched the web so you don’t have to! My best travel deals from Ireland include last minute holidays, short breaks, amazing summer holidays, early booking offers, and super staycations.
This week’s best travel deals post includes short breaks in Ibiza, Majorca and Porto, sun holidays in Agadir and Nerja, a family break in Puglia, a road trip from Nashville to New Orleans and super staycations for Patrick’s weekend.
Best last minute: A week in Agadir from €232!
Escape to sunny Agadir where the temperatures are a balmy 20 degrees! I found return flights for just €48 on the 28th of February and a seven-night stay in the 4 Star Zephyr Hotel is only €184 per person, making the total cost just €232 per person!
If you fancy some five-star treatment, the top rated Hyatt Place in the trendy resort of Taghazout Bay is only €470 per person for a seven night stay, making the total cost just €528 per person! Tempted?
Best Overnight Escape: Patrick’s Weekend in Mount Wolseley from €72pp!

Best Short Break: Ibiza in May from €209!
Kickstart your summer with a short break in Ibiza! We found return flights for just €83 for a three or four night stay.
If you want to get a few friends together, the All Suite Ibiza aparthotel in San Antonio is superb value at only €127 per person, based on four sharing in a 2 bedroom apartment, departing 11th May
However, if you prefer a more relaxed stay, the 4 Star, Adult Only, Grupotel Santa Eulalia and Spa is just €183 per person and is located in a the more relaxed area of Santa Eulalia, while also being within easy reach of Ibiza’s Old Town.

Best Family Holiday: All Inclusive in Puglia
I’m often asked for family friendly hotels in Italy, and Vivosa Apulia Resort is hard to beat. The Blue Flag Enniscrone beach is one of Ireland’s best beaches, and the Diamond Coast Hotel is one of Ireland’s most popular family hotels. Put them both together and you have a super choice for a family staycation over Patrick’s Weekend.
Price for checking in on Saturday the 16th of March for two nights is €349 based on 2 adults and 2 children sharing, and only €284 if you check in on Sunday the 16th of March for a two-night stay, both include breakfast.
Best City Break: Porto, Flights & 4 Star Hotel €174
Escape to Porto in April! This compact city is deal for a short break. I found return flights from just €80 and a two-night stay in the top-rated 4-star Hotel Musica is only €94 per person, making the total cost just €174 per person.

Best Summer Sun: A week in Balcon de Europa, Nerja from €699!
The Balcon de Europa Hotel in Nerja has been on my wish list for many years, and I was surprised to see it priced so reasonably this summer. This 4-star oceanfront hotel has stunning views and super service and has been a favourite with many celebrities over the years.
Price for a seven-night stay including flights from Dublin is €699 per person from August 28th. This is based on departing late in the evening and returning early in the morning. In order to maximise your stay I suggest you click on ‘change flights’ via the link below, you will see many more flight options listed, it is only an €40 to depart in the morning and return in the evening. You can also fly from Cork, Shannon or Knock.
Best Long Haul: Nashville, Memphis & New Orleans Road Trip!
Nashville is the city that everyone is talking about, and for good reason! This super American road trip includes a three night stay in this home of country music, as well as three night stays in Memphis and New Orleans.
Price of €2259 per person includes return flights, fully inclusive car rental, and nine night hotel stays, based on 17th June departure from Dublin.
