The top things to do in Lisbon

Short Break in Lisbon, Flights & Hotel, 6th September, €275!

A beautiful coastal city renowned for terrific sightseeing and a great food scene, book a short break in Lisbon and explore one of Europe’s great cities.

Lisbon is one Europe’s top city break destinations, and after my recent visit I now know why! It has a beautiful old town, with pastel-coloured buildings with terracotta rooftops as far as the eye can see. Lisbon is very easy to navigate too, but if you don’t fancy walking it, there are fantastic old trams to help you enjoy a super weekend break in Lisbon.

The food scene is superb, and a visit to TimeOut Market is a must! I loved Lx Factory too, an eclectic mix of restaurants, bars and shops all in one great open space.

There is plenty to see in Lisbon itself, but if you want to travel, you can take the train to the coastal towns of Cascais or Estoril, or explore the UNESCO World Heritage City of Sintra, and its palaces, castles and museums.

Ryanair, Aer Lingus and TAP Air Portugal all offer daily flights to Lisbon from Ireland. There are many flights to choose from, and you can choose to fly out with one airline and home with another, depending on your preference of flight times. There are so many hotels and apartments to choose from but HF Fenix Music hotel is one of the top-rated hotels in Lisbon. Its trendy rooftop pool, music theme and location beside the Oriente metro station has seen it receive excellent reviews on TripAdvisor.

For this deal I have chosen flights for €93 return from Dublin on Saturday 6th September for two nights. The total cost is only €276 per person including flights and hotel.
