Treat yourself to an overnight escape in the award-winning Lawlor’s Hotel. I found a superb deal for just €99 per person including breakfast, a two-course evening meal with a glass of wine, an upgrade to a superior room if available, and a 10% discount voucher to use in nearby Kildare Village!

Best Family Holiday: Disneyland Paris for October Bank Holiday
Bring the kids to Disneyland Paris for the October bank holiday weekend. I found a great deal for four nights, departing Saturday the 25th of October and returning Wednesday the 29th, for €319 per person including Aer Lingus flights and accommodation at the top-rated Staycity Aparthotels Marne La Vallee.
You can extend your stay or choose alternative dates via the links below. Price for a three-day, two park Hopper ticket is €105 per adult and €99 per child.

Best Family Staycation: Ocean Sands Hotel Sligo, 2 Nights, €441
Escape to the Wild Atlantic Way and enjoy a two-night stay at the Ocean Sands Hotel. Located in the heart of Enniscrone, overlooking one of Ireland’s best beaches, this is a super choice for a staycation before the kids go back to school. Best Short break: Île de Ré from €276!
Bag yourself a bargain break in the beautiful island of Île de Ré – at this price you can’t afford not to! Île de Ré is one of the most sought after holidays destinations in France and it is a lot more affordable and accessible than you think.
I found return flights to La Rochelle on the 9th of September from Dublin for just €46, or €63 from Cork on the 10th of September, and La Rochelle airport is just 12km or 17 minutes drive from Île de Ré. You will find similar price flights available later in September and October.
A three-night stay at the centrally located Hôtel du Port is €230 per person, or choose to stay longer if you wish – simply edit the dates via the links below.
Best September Sun: All Inclusive in Menorca from €759!
Looking for a relaxing getaway? This top-rated All Inclusive hotel in Menorca ticks all the boxes! Perched on a scenic cliffside, it offers a peaceful setting just a 5-minute walk from the beach and the more lively town of Cala’n Forcat. With all food and drinks included, it’s an easy, stress free escape.
Price for a seven-night stay including flights, transfers and baggage included is €759pp on the 22nd of September and €819 on the 11th of September.

Best Winter Break: Malaga for Christmas Lights
Malaga is a super choice for a pre-Christmas break. The city is covered two million lights during the month of December and it is one of the most festive cities in Spain.
I found return flights from €158 with Aer Lingus including 10kg checked baggage – the price is the same if you prefer to travel on Saturday, but hotels are more expensive.
Price for a two night stay at the top-rated Pinar Centro superior apartments is just €91 per person based on two sharing or €59 per person based on 4 sharing, so why not get a few friends to go with you? The flights depart early morning and return late in the evening so you will have three days to enjoy this great city. Why not extend your stay and walk the Caminito del Rey too?

Best Early Booking Offer: 2026 Family Holidays in Top Rated Resorts
Bag yourself an early booking offer for 2026, with low booking deposits of only €75 per person. The top-rated Bonaire in Majorca is always highly sought after – price for an all inclusive holiday here is is €3688 for a family of four in June or €4092 in July, including flights, transfers, baggage, all meals and drinks.
