I’ve searched the web so you don’t have to! My best travel deals from Ireland include last minute holidays, short breaks, amazing summer holidays, and super staycations.
This week’s best travel deals are here! Book a last minute holiday to Lanzarote, spend August in Majorca, the beautiful island of Ischia in September, and bag some bargain breaks in Madeira, Venice or Thailand. We also have super staycations in Galway and Dublin this summer.
Best Last Minute: Lanzarote in July, €689pp
Grab a last minute deal to Lanzarote, staying in one of the most top-rated apart-hotels on the island – the Costa Sal. Peacefully located, yet within easy distance of Puerto del Carmen, its no surprise that guests return here year after year. Best Overnight Escape: Galway from €49pp!
Book a bargain break in Galway this summer with this amazing deal in the Ardilaun Hotel. Price for an overnight escape including breakfast, leisure access, and a bottle of Prosecco to share, is just €49 per person in August or September!
Best August Holiday: Puerto Pollensa, Majorca
Aer Lingus launched a summer sale today with €40 off return airfares, so you can get to to Majorca for as little as €99 from Dublin or Cork in August! I found holidays staying in Puerto Pollensa, which is one of my favourite resorts in Majorca. It is an idyllic spot for an adult break or a family friendly getaway, and I have linked both options below.
Price for return flights on the 22nd of August and a seven night stay in the 4 Star Bahia Pollensa apartments is €799 per person. A family staying in the 4 Star Duva Aparthotel is €2076 based on two adults and two children.

Best September Break: Wellness in Ischia, €989pp
The island of Ischia, (Capri’s more authentic little sister), has been on my wish list for many years, and I was amazed to find such great value in this top-rated hotel – with return transfers (including the ferry to Ischia) included!
Stay in a luxury boutique hotel overlooking the Bay of Naples and relax in its thermal pools which are fed by Ischia’s renowned volcanic springs. Enjoy day trips to Capri, the Amalfi Coast or Pompeii, or simply relax and enjoy one of the many spa treatments available at the hotel. This will be a truly relaxing escape in stunning surroundings.

Best Family Staycation: 2 Night Break in Dublin, €385
Enjoy a staycation in the capital this summer with a super deal from the centrally located Clayton Hotel Cardiff Lane. Spend a day at Dublin Zoo and visit the new Zoorassic Trail, take a cruise along Dublin bay and visit Epic Museum and the Jeanie Johnston – where children enjoy free entry during July and August!

Best Short Break: 4 Star Madeira Break from €455pp
For stunning views and a relaxing escape, the 4 star adult only TUI BLUE Madeira Gardens is the perfect spot for an adults getaway. Surrounded by tropical greenery, this stylish hotel on Madeira’s south coast features a rooftop hot tub with sea views, two restaurants, four bars, and a spa – it’s the perfect place for a short break.
Price for return flights, airport transfers and a four-night stay with breakfast, is €455 from Dublin and €474 from Shannon in October.
Best City Break: Venice from €299pp
With the newly launched Aer Lingus summer sale, I found return flights to Venice for just €127 at the end of August, including 10kg checked baggage. With day temperatures averaging between 25 – 28 degrees, I thought a stay at nearby Lido di Jesolo would be the perfect choice. You can pop into Venice at your leisure and enjoy some beach time too.
Price for flights and a two-night stay at the top-rated Hollywood Hotel is €299 on the 28th of August. Flights depart in the morning and return late in the evening giving you almost three days to enjoy the city and surrounding area.
Best Early Booking Offer – 10 days in Thailand from €1099!
The early-bird catches the unbelievable offer to Thailand for next April. This super deal will put you on the island of Phuket for ten days, staying at the popular Andaman Cannacia Resort. Flights depart Friday April 24th and return on May bank holiday Monday – so your annual leave time is limited too!
