I’ve searched the web so you don’t have to! My best travel deals from Ireland include last minute holidays, short breaks, amazing summer holidays, early booking offers, and super staycations.
This week’s best travel deals post includes Valentines day in Venice, Patrick’s day in Malta, summer holidays in the Algarve and Italy, family holidays in Menorca and Clare, an early booking cruise offer for the October mid term break, and an overnight escape in the capital.
Best last minute: Valentines Day in Venice €183!
Treat your loved one to a trip to Venice for Valentines Day! Venice is spectacular any at time of year, but spring time, without the crowds, is probably one of the best times to visit.
I found flights from Dublin departing early morning on the 12th of February and returning late on the 14th of February – Valentines night, for €55 A two-night stay at the top-rated 4-Star Bisanzio Hotel is only €128 per person!

You can also fly from Cork to Venice for just €49 on the 12th of February for three nights. However, hotels are expensive on Valentines night, cost for a three-night stay is €322 per person.
Best Overnight Escape: Dublin from €55pp!
Book a night in the Dublin in the trendy 4 Star NYX Hotel from just €55 per person including breakfast, an upgrade to a Superior Canal View Room and a drink from the bar!
This fun and funky hotel is top-rated on TripAdvisor and is a great choice for an overnight escape in the capital. Offer is valid on selected dates up to the end of March.
Best Spring Break: Patrick’s Day in Malta, €176!
Fancy escaping for St Patrick’s day? Kaitlin found flights to Malta for €84 per person on the 17th of March from Dublin. Flights are also available from Shannon starting the 30th of March.
A four-night stay at the Mayflower Hotel in St Pauls Bay is only €92 per person! Kaitlin stayed here recently and enjoyed its central location, rooftop pool and friendly staff.

Best Family Holiday: Waterpark Holiday in Menorca
This 4-star hotel in the beautiful island of Menorca is a great choice for family holiday, as free access to the waterpark next door is included in your stay. There is also a kids club, mini disco and splash park on site, as well as evening entertainment for all the family to enjoy. The hotel is available on a Half Board or All Inclusive basis.
Price for a seven night stay including flights, transfers, baggage and hotel is €3111 based on 2 adults and 2 children on a half board basis, or €3405 on an All Inclusive basis, travelling in June. Best Family Staycation: Clare for St Brigid’s Weekend
Kickstart spring with a walk along the Cliffs of Moher over St Brigid’s weekend! I found a great deal at the top-rated Woodstock Hotel in Ennis for just €139 in a Superior Family Room on Sunday the 2nd of February.
This family owned and run hotel has a 15 metre heated swimming pool, a paddling pool for children and a selection of family friendly dining options. The Woodstock Hotel receives excellent reviews on TripAdvisor from guests and is a great choice for a family escape over the bank holiday weekend.
Best Summer Discovery: Puglia & Matera
If you have been following me for a while you will know how much I loved Puglia, and how I only scratched this surface on our short break. This Italy holiday takes in all the amazing places we visited such as Alberobello, Polignano a Mare, Ostuni and the magical city of Matera, but it also brings you to the the places I wish we visited, including Lecce, Otranto and Locorotondo!
This is a super seven-night tour includes guided excursions but also gives you two full days to explore at your leisure. You will be staying at the top-rated Relais Porta del Sud Hotel with breakfast and evening meal included each day.
Price including flights, hotel, tours, transfers and baggage is available from €1329 per person on various dates in June, September and October.

Best Summer Sun: 4 Star week in Alvor, €657
Alvor in the Algarve is one of my favourite sun holiday destinations and I found great value staying in the popular Prainha Clube apartments this summer. Price for a seven-night stay at the end of August / early September is just €545 per person, and you can pick up flights from just €112 from Dublin, Shannon or Cork and €144 from Knock.
If you prefer to travel in July, a seven-night stay is €603 per person, with return flights costing €192 from Cork, €220 from Dublin, €264 from Shannon and €343 from Knock.

Best early booking offer: Family Cruise for October Mid Term Break
Plan ahead and enjoy the thrills of Orlando with a Caribbean cruise for the October mid term break. This super deal includes a four-night stay in the theme park capital of the world, where you can visit the brand new Universal theme park – Epic Universe.
