If you are looking for a winter break with some of Europe’s best beaches on your doorstep – look no further! We found return flights to Fuerteventura on the 27th of November from €70 from Dublin and Cork. There are also flights from Shannon on the 30th of November for €116.

I found a great deal in the superbly located 4 StarReykjavik Marina – Berjaya Iceland for just €240 per person for three nights from Friday to Monday, making the total cost just €425 per person, on various weekends in January and February.

Best City Break: Venice Flights & Top Hotel, €269pp
Looking for the perfect Christmas gift? Treat your loved one, and yourself, to a fabulous stay in Venice! I visited during the winter a few years ago and it was magical – Venice without the crowds, and the heat, is the best way to see it!
I found a great deal including flights and one of the best hotels in the city for just €266 in January or €312 in February, for a two-night stay.
The 4 Star Venice Times Hotel is superbly located in the heart of the city, and with breakfast included, this is a super deal! Check out the reviews on TripAdvisor if you still need convincing.

Best Spring Break: St Patrick’s Weekend in Athens, €262!
Explore somewhere new over St Patrick’s Weekend! I found return flights to Athens for just €122 for three nights, departing Saturday the 14th of March.

Best Family Staycation: Christmas at Winterval in Waterford
If you have been following me for a while you know that I think Winterval in Waterford is our best Christmas market festival for families, but finding a family hotel room at weekends is not easy in December!
However, I did manage to find availability in the fabulous 3 bedroom lodges at Waterford Castle – I stayed her many years ago and loved them. An overnight stay is €387 on the first three weekends in December so if you can get some friends or extended family together it would be well worth the trip!
